About DHARA
Every citizen has the right to understand the law that governs them — in their own language, spoken aloud if needed.
DHARA is built on the conviction that legal knowledge is not a privilege. The corpus covers 70,000+ sections of law from the Government of India's official repository. Every answer is traced to a source. Where a section has been struck down by the Supreme Court, DHARA says so. We launch on 2 October 2026 — Gandhi Jayanti — because the right to know the law that governs you should be universal.
DHARA gives you information about your rights. It is not a substitute for a lawyer, and it will always tell you when you need one.
